The room check-out time felt unusually early at 10:00 AM, which can be inconvenient. A presence of insects around the open windows detracted from the experience, particularly near the outdoor shower and private onsen. Also, ordering food felt hit or miss, as there was a mismatch between menu descriptions and actual portion sizes. Lastly, my massage appointment turned into a DIY setup, which shouldn't have been on me to arrange.

The gardens were stunning, with ample space to explore, and I particularly enjoyed the serene ambiance created by the koi ponds. The breakfast offerings were delightful, featuring fresh ingredients that showcased authentic local cuisine. However, the internet connection was spotty at times, making it difficult to plan my day, and the shuttle service could be more clearly communicated, as I initially missed the pickup point. While I would love to return, I was disappointed that some amenities were either limited or not clearly mentioned beforehand.

I had an amazing experience in a Japanese-Style Standard Room with breakfast included. The authentic breakfast was a standout, especially the soft boiled eggs. I loved feeding the koi in the stunning garden, though I wished the Yukata provided fit better for my larger size. I'd definitely recommend this place for a unique stay!
